Research Activities:
Dr. Cebeci’s research currently focused on design of hybrid super capacitors with vertically aligned carbon nanotubes as an active electrode component and conducting polymer as a redox active component, new electrode materials for lithium ion batteries based on carbon nanofibers and carbon nanotubes, polyelectrolyte and nanoparticle thin films prepared by layer-by-layer technique for corrosion protection, and nanofiber based nanocomposites for artificial muscle applications.
